FIVE is my fifth album and the first where, along with all of the other instruments, I also played drums after the purchase of a Roland V Club drum kit. Also, the use of a new combination hardware / software version of Protools was utilized causing a noticeable increase in sound quality. Of all my albums, my favorite song of all, Oh, The Story, is on this album. Katy Lady was written in 1983 for my wife and was rearranged and recorded for this endeavor. Cadillac Dream features my son Steven playing the main guitar solo. I did the cover by placing two of my guitars on the floor in the shape of a ‘V’ and taking a picture of them by standing on a chair. The carpet was blocked out by the color black. I have been told that other than the Beatles Tribute album, FIVE is my best.
